Research

We support Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Fellows in their interdisciplinary research to advance knowledge at the intersection of behavioral and sustainability sciences.

PhD Program

Our Ph.D. Fellows are united in pursuit of interdisciplinary research to advance knowledge in Behavioral Science for Sustainable Systems. Fellows develop technical and professional skills to become leaders in creating and sharing knowledge at the intersection of engineering and behavioral and sustainability sciences. They are prepared for faculty roles in a diverse range of disciplines, including engineering and business administration, for opportunities in government policymaking and for roles with companies working at the intersection of behavioral science and sustainability. We welcome the very best applicants from all academic and professional backgrounds whose goals align with those of this Behavioral Science for Sustainable Systems program.

For more information, visit Behavioral Science for Sustainable Systems program page.

And join us for our Friday speaker series, Ideas in the Rough! We welcome presentations and peers from all disciplines.

Post-Doc Program

Post-Doc researchers contribute across the three CBSI focus areas: Sustainability, Diversity and Well-Being. Post-Docs prepare for faculty roles in a diverse range of disciplines and also for opportunities in policy and companies applying convergent behavioral science. Post-docs work closely with faculty and doctoral students. We welcome the very best applicants from all academic and professional backgrounds whose goals align with those of CBSI.
