Richa S. Vuppuluri

Richa S. Vuppuluri is Ph.D. student in the Constructed Environment at UVa School of Architecture. Her research interest is in urban infrastructure systems, mainly water and its synergies. Previously, she was a Program Manager and Research Associate for the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard, where she led research on Integrated Infrastructure planning systems. She has worked in disaster prevention at the University of Washington’s Institute for Hazard Mitigation Planning and Research. Recently, she was an Associate at a Seattle based planning consulting firm. Richa is a lead researcher and contributing author of Planning Sustainable Cities: An Infrastructure-Based Approach. She is a certified Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), and a trainer for the Envision Rating System for infrastructure projects. Richa holds a master’s degree in Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
