Lalin Anik is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Her research and teaching in marketing and behavioral economics explore the multifaceted influence of social connection on consumer behavior and welfare in two primary areas: motivation and social influence. Before joining Darden, she was a post-doctoral fellow at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She holds a B.A. degree in psychology from Brandeis University and a Doctorate of Business Administration in marketing from Harvard Business School.
