Ciara R. Horne

Ciara Horne is a first year Ph.D. student at the University of Virginia, studying Civil Engineering. Her research interest consists of discovering more cost and time efficient methods for building structures that are resistant against natural disasters in less-developed communities. Ciara received her B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and has previously held positions in computer-aided design, structural engineering, and construction.
